Yoga is a personal practice. It can be extraordinarily healing, transformative, and empowering. It helps you hang in there when your world gets chaotic and tough, and it teaches you to stay present so you can enjoy the “glimmers” in life—the moments of joy, contentment, and happiness.

About Me
My name is Jennifer Meyer. I founded Red Roost Yoga in 2020, during the heart of the pandemic, to create a community focused on health, happiness, and conscious connection. For the past four years, until June 2024, I taught online classes and have now decided to offer private classes exclusively. Before the pandemic, I taught at Soul Yoga & Wellness in Santa Rosa, California.
I was hooked the very first day I stepped on a yoga mat. At that time, I felt like I was always on the move and never could quite catch a moment to myself. Yoga became my saving grace, teaching me to slow down and connect with myself—both body and mind. I learned to use my body in ways that challenged yet relaxed me. Now, 25 years later, my practice is still going strong. Every time I step on my mat, my practice is different because every day, my body and mind are in a different place. I’ve learned to meet and respect my body where it is at that moment, not judge it, and move it intelligently and respectfully.

What I love most about yoga is that the skills and insights gained on the mat are not confined to that space alone; they are transferable to everyday life. Yoga is not just physical; it is a mental practice too, and there is nothing more fulfilling than making that connection and learning how to integrate it into my daily life. Expect lots of smiles!

"I teach to help my students stay strong on and off the mat. Expect the unexpected because most of my teaching, techniques and cues are inspired by my own life experiences; past & present."
